Refund policy

This refund policy reflects your rights under Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance (OUG) 34/2014 on consumer rights in distance contracts, noting the special regime applicable to digital content.

We offer a voluntary 14-day refund, more generous than what the law strictly requires for digital content, because that's how we choose to build trust.

You have the right to request a full refund within 14 calendar days of payment confirmation, without justifying the decision. After 14 days, requests are evaluated individually. See section 7.

Under OUG 34/2014 Art. 16 letter m), the statutory right of withdrawal is technically lost once digital-content delivery begins with the consumer's express consent and acknowledgment of this loss.

We choose not to invoke this exception in the first 14 days. You may request a refund even if you have already accessed the course.

Send an email to vm.codes11@gmail.com with the subject "Refund [course name]" from the address used at purchase. You do not need to provide a reason.

By submitting the request, you confirm that you waive any remaining access to the materials and authorize revocation of access credentials.

We provide a model withdrawal form you can copy into your email, per OUG 34/2014:

"To VM Software Lab SRL, Bucharest. I hereby exercise my right to withdraw from the contract for the course [course name], purchased on [purchase date] by [buyer name], email [email]. Request date: [date]."

Refund is issued to the same payment method used at purchase (the card you paid with via Stripe). We process the request within 14 calendar days, per OUG 34/2014 Art. 13. In practice, funds reach you in 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.

After 14 days: refunds are evaluated only for substantive reasons (material error in the course, technical impossibility of delivery).

Abuse: if you have massively downloaded the content (e.g. systematic copying of materials) and then request a refund, we reserve the right to refuse the refund and take legal action.

Live services already fully consumed (e.g. group sessions from IT Job Sprint): not refunded after delivery, but we can discuss compensation on a case-by-case basis.

Once we initiate the refund, we revoke access to materials: Colab link, proxy API key, Discord access (if applicable). Fair is fair: either you have the course, or you have the money, not both.
